Graft case dropped
Chennai, May 8
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption today withdrew the wealth case against former AIADMK minister S. Muthusamy in a special court on the ground that it was unable to prove its charges. Special Judge A.C. Arumughaperumal Aditayan closed the case after the DVAC, the prosecuting agency, informed that it was unable to substantiate the charge that Muthusamy had allegedly amassed unaccounted wealth.
