Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were largely above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in Haryana.

The highest temperature in the region was 39.5°C recorded at Banswara (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, rose in east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed littled elsewhere.

Departures: They were markedly above normal in west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.0°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of 21st: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana and Punjab and at isolated places in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in east Uttar Pradesh.

Thundersqualls/Hailstorms are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab during the next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 21st: Partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundery development and light rain in some areas. Fall in maximum temperature, rise in minimum temperature and will be around 31°C and 17°C respectively.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of 21st: Light rain is likely at a few places. Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
