Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in east Rajasthan, below normal in Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.8°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 2: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
