Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana, at a few places in west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Bhiwani 2, and Hisar, Narwana, New Delhi (Palam and Safdarjung), Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Sonepat 1 each. Rajasthan: Suratgarh 1. Snowfall report (cms): Himachal Pradesh: Dhundi 10, Patsio and Solangnala 2 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, fell in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were largely above normal in east Rajasthan, markedly above normal in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.6 °C recorded at Halwara (Punjab) and Suratgarh (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of 27th: Rain or snow is likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 27th: Partly cloudy sky with chances of thundery development and light rain in some areas. Fall in minimum temperature and will be around 13 °C.
