China
From Our CorrespondentLUDHIANA,
Feb 25 — Dr Milkha S. Aulakh, a senior soil scientist at Punjab Agricultural University, has been invited to participate in an international conference on ‘Green house gases emission from rice fields’ scheduled to be held at
Nanjing, China. Giving this information, Dr Aulakh said that the conference would be organised by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies
(IGES), Japan, which is a premier institute for coordinating worldwide research and development of strategies on global environment. Distinguished scientists from several countries, including USA, Japan, Germany, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, India, have been invited to the conference, he said.
