Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Punjab and west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in east Rajasthan, fell in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until this morning of 24th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Isolated thundersqualls or hailstorms are likely in Haryana and Punjab during next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 24th: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development and light rain towards evening night. No significant change in minimum temperature.
