Traffic curbs for sammelan PANCHKULA, Feb 19 — In view of the janata-police sammelan tomorrow, the Panchkula police has imposed certain traffic restrictions in the township. According to a press statement, the VIP invitees coming to the function from Tawa chowk should come to the telephone exchange and Yavanika Chowk from where they have to take the Sector 5 road to reach Cricket ground. Invitees coming from Shakti Bhawan chowk should reach the telephone exchange and then to the venue. The cars having flags should reach the function place via Shakti Bhawan chowk after taking a turn opposite from Gymkhana Club road headed towards HAFED building. However, for the general public, traffic coming from Tawa chowk is opened for those going to attend the function. The authorities have made a place for parking in Sector 4 subji mandi. The entry to the road from HAFED chowk to the Fire Station chowk, T junction between Pallavi hotel and Cactus Garden has been restricted for all vehicles. Heavy vehicles coming from outside have been diverted from Majri chowk to Sector 3 parking place. Apart from it, adequate security arrangements have been made by the Panchkula police to avoid any untoward incident. |
