CCS meeting on truce put off

New Delhi, February 18
The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) scheduled to decide on the extension of ceasefire in Kashmir beyond Februay 26 late this evening, was cancelled in view of the prolonged meeting of the National Committee on Disaster Management (NCDM). “The CCS meeting was scheduled to take place after the NDMC meeting. However, as it has prolonged than the scheduled time, the CCS meeting has been cancelled. A new date will be announced later.”

Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala today said that the Punjab Government had agreed to provide 100 mw of power to his state, which was facing shortage of power.
