Hailstorms likely in Haryana
NEW DELHI, FEB 13 — Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Punjab. They are likely to abate during the next 24 hours.

  • The maximum temperature on Tuesday was 25.8°C (79.5°F) and the minimum 6.7°C (46.4°F).
    The maximum relative humidity was 70 per cent and the minimum 14 per cent.
  • Sunset: Wednesday : 6.10

  • OUTLOOK FOR  WEDNESDAY: Mainly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain. Significant rise in night temperature. Minimum temperature on Thursday will be around 11°C.

NEW DELHI, FEB 13 — Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Punjab. They are likely to abate during the next 24 hours.

Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in West Rajasthan, rose in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in West Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan, below normal in the remaining parts of Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 15th: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.Thundersqualls/hailstorms are likely at isolated places in Haryana and east Rajasthan during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 15th: Generally cloudy sky with one or two showers/thundershowers. Rise in minimum temperature and will be around 11 degree centigrade.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of 15th: Light to moderate rain will occur at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
