— Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are prevailing in many parts of Rajasthan. Cold wave conditions also continue to prevail in many parts of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Cold wave conditions have extended into parts of Haryana and Uttaranchal. Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region. Temperature:
Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell markedly in East Rajasthan, fell appreciably in East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in the remaining parts of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.2 °C recorded at Adampur(Punjab) and Churu (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of 5th: Weather will be dry over the region. Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 5th: Sunny day. Clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
