Two injured outside Nada Sahib Gurdwara; vendors offered relief
PANCHKULA, Oct 1 — Maninder Singh and Manjit Kaur of Nada village, were injured in a clash between the roadside vendors and the management of the Nada Sahib Gurdwara over the issue of increasing encroachment along the road leading to the premises.

Girl killed by father, step-mother
NAYAGOAN, Oct 1 — In a gruesome incident a nine-year-old girl, Jyoti, was bludgeoned to death by her father and step-mother and buried in the house in Janata Colony here yesterday.
