Trishul test-fired
CHANDIPUR-ON-SEA (Orissa), Aug 25 (PTI) — India’s most sophisticated short-range surface-to-air missile with multi-purpose utility — Trishul — was successfully test-fired from the interim test range here today, official sources said. The missile, with its quick reactions and delivery, is comparable to any state-of-the-art missile system in this class. It can be used by the Army, the Air Force and the Navy. Trishul was test-fired at about 5 p.m. using a radar line-of-sight guidance and powered by a two-stage solid propellant system, the sources said.
