Rajinder Singh is the coach for the boys team and James Saddana for the girls team. Kuldeep Singh and Neelam are the managers of the boys and the girls teams respectively. 

Inter-school rifle shooting contest

LUDHIANA, Aug 25 — The first Punjab State Inter-School Championship organised by the District Rifle Shooting Association (DRA) began today at the KVM school, here. The meet will continue till August 27.

Col J.S. Brar, President, DRA, said today in a press note that 80 participants from 18 schools of different parts of the state were taking part in the championship.

The events to be conducted in the championship are 10-metre air pistol junior boys and girls and sub-junior boys and girls.

TT tourney from August 26

LUDHIANA, Aug 25 — The fourth North Zone Inter-Medical Table Tennis Tournament organised by the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, will be held here from August 26 to August 28.

Mr Rajoo Chhina, Staff Sports President of the College, said in a press note issued today that the events to be conducted were men and women single, men and women double and mixed doubles. The final matches and prize distribution function would be held on August 28.

Team for National Handball Championship declared

LUDHIANA, Aug 25 — The Punjab junior girls handball team for the National Handball Championship scheduled to be held at Imphal (Manipur) from August 28 to September 2, was announced by Mr S. S. Channy, president, Punjab Handball Association (PHA), in a press note issued here today.

The members of the team are Baljit Kaur, Kamalpreet Kaur, Ralneet Kaur, Charanjit Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Rajbir Kaur, Paramjeet Kaur , Kawaljeet Kaur, Rajdeep Kaur, Ritika Sharma, Amina Rani, Neeti Saini, Shah Kamal, Ramandeep Kaur, Anjana and Shevta Lotey. The coaches of the team are Gurcharan Singh and Inderjit Singh.
