Clinton’s Moscow visit in June
MOSCOW, May 29 (UNI) — President Bill Clinton will visit Moscow next month for a “summit meet” with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin to discuss bilateral issues. Talks between Mr Clinton and Mr Putin are scheduled to be held on June 4-5. Slated to arrive here on June 3, the US President will conclude his visit on June 5.

Hailstorm hits HP
SHIMLA, May 29 (PTI) — Several areas of Himachal including Shimla, were lashed by a severe hailstorm accompanied by lightning and thunder today. The hailstorm disrupted normal life and hundreds of tourists strolling on the Mall and the Ridge ran for shelter. The supply of power was disrupted due to the hailstorm.

Jharkhand bandh
RANCHI, May 29 (UNI) — A Jharkhand bandh had been called separately by the Vamjanwadi Jharkhand Alag Rajya Sangharsh Samiti and the Jharkhand Peoples Party-All-Jharkhand Students Union combine on June 9.

Ayodhya case
LUCKNOW, May 29 (PTI) — A special court, hearing the Ram Janamabhoomi-Babri Masjid demolition case, today fixed July 17 for further hearing in the matter. Earlier, Special Judge (CBI) J.P. Srivastava exempted the attendance of all 49 accused.
