Rehriwalas occupy Baddi road
From Prem Singh

BADDI May 19 — While industrialisation in this town has raised the standard of the people, a number of problems remain unattended by the authorities concerned.

The Nagar Panchayat has also failed to provide basic amenities and illegal constructions are rapidly coming up.

Residents of this area already have encroached upon shamlet land and the administration has failed to prevent it.

Steet hawkers’ and rehri-phariwalas have unauthorisedly occupied the open space on the both sides of the Baddi-Sai road as also the space around the Post Office.

Garbage, Polythene bags and other material litter the area around the rehris, giving a foul smell.

Further, the encroachments area obstacle in the smooth movement of public and vehicles and may lead to mishaps.

Will the Nagar Panchayat wake up and adopt some preventive measures.
