Saturday: Heat wave conditions abated in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, including Chandigarh.

Rain occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.

On Friday, the day temperatures changed a litle and were markedly above normal in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The highest temperature in the area was 42.1°C recorded at Hisar and Gurgaon.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Duststorm or thunderstorm with light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Haryana.
