REGION

Saturday: Rain and snowfall has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain occurred at many places in Punjab and a few places in Haryana. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are : Ghamroor and Nagrota Surian 3 each, Guler, Nadaun, Kasol, Pandoh, Nahan, Sundernagar, Shimla and Bhunter 2 each, and Berthin and Ludhiana 1each.

Night temperatures fell in Haryana and Punjab and changed little in Himachal Pradesh. These were below normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in Haryana and Punjab. The lowest temperature in the plains was recorded at 5.2°C in Amritsar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or snow is likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.
