Thursday: Rainand snow has occurred at most places in H.P. Rain has occurred at a few places in Punjab and atd isolated places in Haryana. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms. are : Shimla, Sundernagar, Sunni and Berthin 2 each and RL-1700 and Kaasol one each. Night temperatures changed little in the area. These were below normal in H.P., normal in Punjab and above normal in Haryana. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.2°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or snow is likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Punjab. Partly cloudy days are likely in Haryana.
