REGION
Saturday: Severe cold wave conditions are prevailing in Punjab and in most parts of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Rain or snow occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain has occurred at isolated places in Punjab. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Ghamroor, Guler and Nadaun one each. Night temperatures fell markedly in Himachal and fell largely in Haryana and Punjab. These were markedly below normal in the area. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.5°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal. Mainly sunny days are likely in Haryana and Punjab.
