NEW DELHI, Nov 17 (UNI) — A CBI court holding trial in the MPs’ bribery case today issued non-bailable arrest warrants against a chartered accountant, Sushil Kumar, who allegedly helped four former JMM MPs to open bank accounts to deposit the bribe money. Additional Sessions Judge Ajit Bharihoke in his order said the bailable warrants issued earlier had been received unserved with a report that he was avoiding to come to the court. In view of this, non-bailable warrants should be issued against him for November 19. Former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao is among the 11 accused facing trial in the case relating to the alleged bribing of opposition MPs to defeat a no-confidence motion against the Rao government on July 28, 1993.
