Imran Masood arrested for hate speech
SAHARANPUR (UP): Congress Lok Sabha candidate Imran Masood was on Saturday arrested on charges of hate speech in which he threatened to “chop” Narendra Modi “into pieces”, remarks that led to an FIR being filed against him.

NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party  delegation met the Chief Election Commissioner on Saturday asking for strict action to be taken against Congress candidate for Saharanpur Imran Masood for threatening to chop BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi into pieces.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hitting back at Narendra Modi for his remarks against him, Defence Minister A K Antony today said no patriot would make such comments which would demoralise the defence forces and help the enemy.

China charges 4 surviving suspects of Kunming attack
BEIJING: China has laid out the charges against the four surviving suspects in a knife attack in the southwestern city of Kunming this month that left at least 169 dead or injured, the official People's Daily newspaper said on Saturday.

IAF’s big bird Super Hercules crashes near Gwalior, 4 officers among 5 dead
New Delhi, March 28
In a major loss, a newly acquired US-made special operations plane — C-130-J Super Hercules — today crashed near Gwalior after taking off from Agra air base, killing five crew members, including four officers. The dead have been identified as Wing Commander Prashant Joshi, Wing Commander Raji Nair, Squadron Leader Kaushik Mishra, Squadron Leader Ashish Yadav and Warrant officer Krishan Pal Singh.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was today attacked by a man during a road show in Dadri town of Bhiwani district. Soon after the incident, AAP supporters caught hold of the attacker, identified as Jitender Kumar, and thrashed him.
