Asaram’s son Sai in police net, finally New Delhi, December 4 Asaram was arrested in August for allegedly sexually assaulting a schoolgirl in Jodhpur. The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police caught Sai at Pipli in Kurukshetra around 10.30 pm on Tuesday. He was travelling in a white EcoSport SUV with disciple Kaushal Thakur (29), driver Ramesh Malhotra (27) and a juvenile from Gujarat who has been working as a cook with him for the past seven years. Ramesh reportedly tried to mislead the police by saying that he was ‘Suresh’ and not Ramesh. Sai had disguised himself as a Sikh. He was sitting on the rear seat of the SUV supporting a red turban and wearing jeans. “We left the juvenile because we have no complaint that he was in conflict with law or was being held captive by the men who have been arrested,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (crime branch) SBK Singh.
