Workshop on consumer rights organised

Phagwara, October 7
The Lions Club, Phagwara Service, organised a workshop on consumer rights session on the seventh day of the “Service Week” observations at GNA Institute of Management Technology, here today.

Students of MBA III semester attended the workshop which was addressed by Surinder Mittal, a former Presiding Member, District Consumer Court, Kapurthala and Jalandhar. Sharing his experiences with the students, Mittal informed the students about Consumer Protection Act and the rights of a consumer.

The students cleared their doubts during a question-answer session, gain a clear understanding and gauge future career prospects in the field of consumer protection, according to a press note issued by Dr SK Singla, Director, GNA.
