Concerned over the depleting ground water table, the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation is in talks with the World Bank. The civic body wants the World Bank to fund the technical study which it plans to carry out in the city.

Kaur, a resident of Ashok Nagar in the Salem Tabri area, was married to Davinder a year ago. No arrest has been made so far.
