St John’s student hit by school bus, injured
Chandigarh, May 24
A Class VI student of St John’s High School in Sector 26 was critically injured after being hit by a speeding bus of the same school at full break today. The student, 12-year-old Harpreet Singh, a resident of Bapu Dham Colony, is admitted to the PGI and has suffered injuries on his chest and
stomach. He was riding pillion on a bicycle when the mishap occurred at 10.40 am when his school got over.

Autopsy conducted at GMSH-16

The autopsy of the PU student, who had died under mysterious circumstances in his room at Hostel Number II, was held today at the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16. Since the body was charred nothing could be ascertained. The viscera samples have been taken and sent for tests. Meanwhile, a magisterial probe on the request of the Chandigarh Police has been ordered.
PU to appoint two counsellors for students

Concern over accidents caused due to chaos prevailing outside schools came true when a student was seriously injured after being hit by a bus while coming out of a city-based school. Harpreet Singh, a Class VI student of St John's High School, who was riding pillion on a bicycle, was hit by a recklessly driven school bus in Sector 26 outside Sacred Heart School.

I was misinterpreted, says Hard Kaur
