SGPC shuffles secretaries:The SGPC has made significant changes in the departments being handled by its secretaries. Now, SGPC secretary Tarlochan Singh will manage official and administrative affairs, educational institutions and staff affairs. Roop Singh will look after the management of gurdwaras falling under Section 85. Secretary Dalmegh Singh will look after gurdwaras affairs under Section 87.

Woman killed in road accident: Basanti Devi, wife of late Bhagat Ram, resident of Ghansui village under Barsar police station, died in a road accident near the Sukar Khad bridge at about 8 pm on Monday. She was hit by a speeding car in a hit-and-run case. The police had launched a hunt to trace the car driver. — TNS
