New Delhi, May 7
Ajay Garg, a Panchkula-based close aide of UnionAjay Garg, aide of Vijay Singla, in New Delhi on Tuesday. Railway Minister PK Bansal's nephew and an alleged middleman in the Rs 10-crore bribery case, was today arrested after he surrendered before a Delhi court, which remanded him in CBI custody till May 9.

Cong, Akali workers clash near Ferozepur, 1 hurt
Ferozepur, May 7
A clash broke out between Congress and Akali workers during the filing of nomination papers for the forthcoming zila parishad elections in Mamdot, around 25 km from here, today. Naseeb Singh, personal assistant (PA) to Congress MLA from Guruharsahai Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, was reportedly injured in the incident.

India did pull down a tin-shed it had started constructing at Chumar close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) to arrive at an understanding with China to end the face-off between the forces of the two countries in Ladakh on Sunday night, sources said today.
