Adopt tough posture against Pak:
Panthers Party: Chairman of the Panthers Party Harsh Dev Singh has urged the Union Government to adopt a tough posture against Pakistan for its “disdainful, criminal and preposterous acts in persistently assaulting our national pride and honour”. He said the gruesome murder of Sarabjit Singh should be an eye-opener for the Indian Government which has been adopting a “submissive and meek approach despite the highly pernicious onslaughts of Pakistan”. Singh regretted that the Union leadership had failed to act when required. He said the Indian Government failed to assert diplomatic pressure on Pakistan to allow Indian medical teams to treat Sarabjit.

Omar silent on prison attack: Twitter-savvy Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who promptly tweets his opinions on issues of relevance on the micro-blogging site, didn’t comment on Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Haq despite a query by one of his followers. His government, however, has condemned the incident, describing it as unfortunate.
