Lalla, and his three accomplices with 2.7 kg of psychotropic drug powder. ADCP-I Nilambari Jagdale said

Encroachments on roads leading to CMCH worry staff

As encroachments on the roads leading to the Christian Medical College and Hospital have become traffic bottlenecks, the Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh and Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria have taken a serious note of the problem and ordered the officials concerned to remove the encroachments.

Will not tolerate corruption: Majithia
Ludhiana, April 24
The Revenue Minister, Bikram Singh Majithia, has said at least 10
tehsildars/naib tehsildars had been suspended while the service of three officials were terminated following corruption charges were levelled against them in the last one year.
The minister was in the city last evening to attend a Mahavir Jayanti function, which was held at the Guru Nanak Bhawan here.
