Thane Building Collapse: Death toll rises to 71, rescue operation in progress
Thane, April 06 (ANI): The death toll in the collapse of the residential building in Thane rose to 71 including 25 children, on Saturday amid diminishing hopes of finding any survivors alive. Sixty-two people are injured and 70 per cent of the debris has been cleared.

British woman found dead on houseboat in Kashmir, Dutch tourist held
Srinagar, April 06 (ANI): A British woman was found dead inside a houseboat in the Dal Lake in Srinagar on Saturday. Sara Elizabeth has been murdered reportedly by a Dutch tourist who was arrested by the state police while he was trying to flee. The Dutch national, De-wit Richard was sharing a houseboat with the British woman and was living in a room adjacent to the victim's room.

Boxing Federation drops Vijender Singh from tournaments in Cyprus and Cuba
New Delhi, April 06 (ANI): Olympian Vijender Singh, who is currently entangled in a drug controversy, has been dropped from the upcoming boxing tournaments in Cyprus and Cuba. Singh’s ouster is being seen as a consequence of Vijender missing the trial camp being held in Patiala on Friday and Saturday.
