Hypertension a big worry in India, says WHO
New Delhi (ANI):
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that hypertension is the reason behind 10 percent deaths in India and is also the cause for four major non-communicable diseases, which have high mortality rate. According to health experts, five simple lifestyle changes can help people beat high blood pressure and save millions of lives every year.



UN ‘warns’ N Korea, says crisis gone too far
Madrid/Washington DC (ANI):
The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on Thursday said that a crisis over North Korea had gone too far and warned that if there was any misjudgement the implications could be very serious. North Korea moved a missile with a “considerable range” to the east coast of the country. South Korea’s defence minister said that the weapon was not capable of reaching the United States.



Thane building collapse: Death toll rises to 28, rescue operations on
Thane (ANI):
The death toll in an under-construction building collapse in Thane area of Mumbai on Thursday evening were risen to 28. Over 55 persons were injured. Several persons were trapped under the debris and the rescue operations were continued.



BJP leader alleges 5 drunk men attacked her car in S Delhi 
New Delhi (ANI):
BJP National Secretary Vani Tripathi alleged that she had been attacked by five drunk men while driving home in South Delhi last night. Vani was with a friend when her car got into an accident, following which the men tried to force themselves into the car. The men allegedly escaped before the police arrived.
