NADA refuses dope test

To put an end to the drug controversy, the Sports Ministry has directed the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) to immediately carry out dope tests on successful boxer Vijender Singh, who has been accused of consuming heroin by Punjab Police. However, the NADA has said that it will follow its own protocol as it is an autonomous body and cannot take orders from any ministry.
