Robbery bid foiled, two held with arms
Ludhiana, April 2
The city police nabbed two persons and foiled a robbery bid last night. Besides, the city police has also seized two .315 revolvers and two live cartridges from their possession. The accused have been identified as Ram Janam and Anuj Kumar, both residents of Janta Nagar. They were nabbed by the Division No 4 police.

3 die in accidents
Ludhiana, April 2
Three persons lost their lives in separate accidents that took place in the city in the last 24 hours. While two persons died after being run over by a train last night, one person succumbed to injuries after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Jodhewal Basti area today.

The city police has nabbed two employees of a courier company for stealing a parcel containing five mobile phones.

Ludhiana: The city police has nabbed two snatchers and recovered two mobile phones and a stolen motorcycle. The accused have been identified as Jagroop Singh and Gurpreet Singh, both residents of Subash Nagar. They were held last night while they were trying to escape after committing the crime.
