COMMUNITY

They have made a difference
On International Women's Day, Chandigarh Tribune highlights the stories of some women in the city, who have battled all odds to realise their dreams, believing in something Oprah Winfrey remarked. Among those conquering the male bastion are the only postwoman in the city, who gracefully delivers letters from door to door, a staff nurse, who helped transform a dispensary into a 100-bedded hospital, and last but not least, a school van driver who is the sole breadwinner of the family.
