Exam centre raided: Punjab Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka on Friday raided an examination centre, Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Kharar, and expressed shock to see girl students sitting on the floor while writing their examination there. Flower show held: A flower show and seminar was held at Banasar Garden in Sangrur on Friday. Punjab Horticulture Director Dr Lajwinder Singh Brar told farmers that there was a dire need of diversification of crops. He encouraged them to adopt horticulture.
Bathinda
Foetus found: A foetus was found in the sewage on Fauji Road in Kotkapura on Friday afternoon. The police said municipal workers found the foetus while cleaning the blocked sewage. Civil Surgeon Rakesh Arora said a five-member team had been constituted to investigate the matter.
