ISRO’s giant leap

The 103rd mission of ISRO put into orbit seven satellites in four minutes

In 2008, India had successfully launched 10 satellites in a single mission

The lift-off, scheduled for 5.56 pm, was delayed by 5 minutes to avoid a debris hit

Soaring into clear skies, the 44.4-m-tall 230-tonne rocket first injected the 409-kg Indo-French satellite SARAL into orbit about 18 minutes after lift-off, followed by six other foreign satellites
