Sun plays hide and seek as cold wave continues

Jalandhar, February 17
The sun played hide and seek in the region where cold wave continued unabated. Though rain did not occur, yet the sky remained partly cloudy throughout the day.
There is a possibility of rain in the city as the sky will remain cloudy on Monday, the Meteorological department said.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Adampur of Jalandhar district was recorded as 10.2 degree Celsius, whereas the maximum temperature was 19.1 degree Celsius on Sunday.

The lowest temperature was registered in Halwara as 12.1 degree Celsius whereas the maximum was recorded as 17.5 degree Celsius. Chandigarh recorded minimum temperature 11.2 degree Celsius and maximum u 19.3 degree Celsius. While Pathankot settled at a low of 11.6 degree Celsius and the maximum was reported as16.3 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded as 12.8 degree Celsius and the maximum as 17.3 degree Celsius in Bathinda.
