22 Amarnath yatris die in nine days; Governor raises concern

Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra has expressed serious concern over deaths of 22 pilgrims during the first nine days of the Amarnath pilgrimage. Most deaths have occurred due to cardiac failure.

Home loans up to Rs 15 lakh get 1% rate waiver

High courts can’t increase medical college seats: SC
New Delhi, July 4
The Supreme Court today ruled that high courts can’t increase the number of seats in medical colleges, clarifying that any student graduating after getting admission on the basis of such seats would not be allowed to practise medicine.
