Rains will be delayed by a week in the North
Weatherman says expect widespread showers by July 8
New Delhi, July 1
Monsoon clouds may have skipped the northwest India so far, but some relief is round the corner. The weather office today said rainfall was likely at isolated places in the first half of the week, followed by “considerable increase” in precipitation during the later half. The weather office said “by July 8 there would be an increase in the rainfall activity in the northwest India”.

China ready with its own stealth fighter jet
New Delhi, July 1
China is ready with its version of an operational stealth fighter jet and is set to induct the first lot anytime soon. The stealth fighter will put additional pressure on India in its defence preparedness plans as its neighbour races ahead in ramping up its air fleet, Army equipment, missiles and naval warships besides critical infrastructure like railways and road network.
