Citing several Supreme Court judgments and other legal arguments, the superintendent of the Patiala Central Jail today returned the death warrant of Balwant Singh Rajoana to the court of the Additional Sessions Judge in Chandigarh again.

5 die in Jammu bus mishap
Udhampur, March 24
Ramban mishap victims being evacuated.Five persons were killed and 17 critically injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge near Nashri in Ramban district today.
Officials said the mishap took place around 5 am on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, nearly 60 km from here.

A person injured in the fire being treated at a hospital in MumbaiAt least seven people were injured in an explosion on board a chemical tanker, Royal Diamond 7, docked at the Mumbai harbour today, according to police. All those injured were rushed to St George Hospital, police said.
