Certain electricity consumers in the city’s main shopping centre at Sector 17 are up in arms against the UT’s electricity department as a majority of them have faced penalty or discontinuation of power supply for non-payment of bills, which incidentally, have not reached them for months.

Development suffers as Shivalik board sleeps

The Shivalik Development Board seems to have no development on its agenda for the region. While no meeting of the board has been convened for the past three years, not a single member has been nominated from general public to the board in the past seven years.
350 units of blood collected
