The unparalleled 13-day agitation ended today with Anna Hazare breaking his fast to a cheering crowd of thousands of supporters at Ramlila Grounds, but not without a stern warning to start yet another movement, this time for electoral reforms.

Omar gives amnesty as Eid gift to stone throwers

Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today rolled out an amnesty plan for youths involved in around 1200 cases of stone throwing in the Valley last year.

Heavy rain disrupts train, air traffic in Mumbai

Heavy rain continued to lash the city for the second consecutive day today, disrupting rail and air traffic and causing inconvenience to commuters. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management Cell, the city recorded 57.6 mm of rain.
