Info disseminated on HIV/AIDS: A health education camp was organised at the Rural Training Health Centre, Bhalaiana. Dr Ramnika Aggarwal, assistant professor, Community Medicine, Adesh Medical College, Bathinda, educated the participants about causes and adverse affects of the HIV and AIDS. Dr Nachhattar Singh, in-charge of the centre, asked the participants to protect themselves from the deadly disease. — TNS

Last date for BSNL landline bill payment extended: The BSNL, Bathinda, SSA (Bathinda and Mansa districts), has extended the due date for depositing landline bills concerning invoice date November 13, 2010. As per the press release issued by the BSNL Bathinda, the due date has been extended by four days up to December 8 from the earlier date of December 4.
