India, not Kashmir, Lashkar’s true goal
Aim to set up Islamic state in South Asia: Experts
Recent actions by Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) have fuelled a belief in Washington that the militant group’s agenda is much broader than a resolution of the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan.

Police commandos keep vigil near the Jewish Synagogue in Kochi on Saturday. The city has been put on red alert following an MHA warning of a possible Lashkar attack. Adulteration: Northern region takes the cake
New Delhi, March 13
If you thought food quality inspectors had managed to rid your palate of impurities, you must think again. Of the food samples tested in recent past, 7 per cent were found to be adulterated. On an average, 7.43 per cent of all milk products, edible oils, vegetable, sweet and other food articles examined by health departments from 2006 to 2008, were impure, exposing the levels of food adulteration in India 56 years after the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act was passed.
