Panchkula, December 8
After his dismissal from the state Cabinet, former deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Chander Mohan alias Chand Mohammad had another jolt today with his family shutting door on him after his second marriage to Anuradha Bali alias Fiza.

A known address for the locals with the usual hustle bustle of supporters and party workers was not visited by even a single person for the last two days.

Press photographers and mediapersons, who were camping in front of the house for the last two days, however, found it useful to wait for long when former Haryana Chief Minister and Chander Mohan’s father Bhajan Lal reached here today.

He said: “Chander Mohan has brought a bad name to the family as well as the community by changing the religion and solemnising a second marriage”.

After remaining missing for more than a month, Chander Mohan had emerged yesterday claiming that he had married former state assistant advocate general Anuradha Bali.

Bhajan Lal said Chander Mohan would not be allowed to enter the house here. “He has done a great injustice to his wife and children and the doors are shut on him while the family fully stands behind his wife Seema and would extend all moral support to her,” he said, adding: “I have already disowned him.”

When asked whether Seema would step into the politics now, he warded off the question saying she was under shock and nothing has been thought of on these lines as of now. “All the options are open before the family and whenever a decision in this regard is taken media will be informed,” he said.

Earlier, the sister of Chander Mohan along with wife of Kuldip Bishnoi reached here. As the media personnel were had already started assembling in front of the house in both, in order to avoid the photographers, entered the house from rear.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders in a joint press conference flaying the second marriage of Chander Mohan said he had no right to remain as an MLA from the region. The public had voted for Chander Mohan and Chand Mohammad has to take a new mandate, they said.

The criticism came from Chander Mohan’s own party also. Congress district vice-president K.P Singh while interacting with media said the party even would oppose his entry in the constituency.
