Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Jind 2, Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath 7, Dharamshala 3 and Jogindernagar, Dhundhi and Bhangmanali 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 2 and Bhoond 1, Punjab: R.S. Damsite 4, east Rajasthan: (2 cm and more) Anta and Banswara Tehsil 7 each, Arnod 6, Jhalawar, Kesoraipatan, Veja, Badi Sadri, Chotisadri and Dariabad 5 each, Mandal, Jhalarapatan, Khanpur, Chhabra, Aspur, Banswara, Danpur and Girva 4 each, Hamirgarh, Karera, Bagore, Sagwara, Nithuwa, Udaipur city, Sallumber and Pipalkhunte 3 each and Amet, Bhilwara, Bhim, Banera, Raipur, Bijoliya, Gangdhar, Dug, Bhainsroadgarh, Baran, Indergarh, Ladpura, Mandana, Sabla, Devel, Reodar, Pratapgarh, Jhadol, Kesarpura, Bhungra, Jagpura, Bagidora, Gogunda and Gangrar 2 each, west Rajasthan: Jodhpur tehsil 3, Jodhpur city, Desuri and Digana 2 each and Parvatsar 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Kakardharighat 9, Kakrahi 3, Bahraich and Gorakhpur 2 each and Bansi 1, west Uttar Pradesh; Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar 3 each and Uttarakhand: Dehra Dun 2 and Banbasa, Haridwar and Uttarkashi 1 each. Forecast valid until the morning of August 28: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region. Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in east Uttar Pradesh. Outlook for the subsequent two days: Scattered to fairly wide spread rainfall activity is likely to continue in east Uttar Pradesh. Subdued rainfall activity is likely over rest of the region.
