Sleuths of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested two persons from Sector 39 this afternoon and claimed to have recovered 110 gm of cocaine and 5 kg of charas from their possession.

UT to honour Abhinav Bindra in absentia

Traffic diversions for I-Day function

In the wake of the Independence Day function tomorrow, the traffic wing of the Chandigarh police has imposed restrictions on the traffic flow and has planned diversions from certain roads near the Parade Ground, Sector 17, and near Punjab Raj
Bhawan. The UT police sounded high alert besides beefing up security across the city.

Canadian NRI woman, Depinder Kaur Hundal, who was single-handedly fighting for the custody of her ten-month-old child from her in-laws, won her battle today.
