Hiked paddy MSP no good news for farmers

The Union government has agreed, in principle, to help the Punjab government to address the water-logging problem in the Muktsar-Abohar-Malout belt, caused mainly due to seepage from the Sirhind feeder and the Rajasthan canal that takes off from the Harike headworks.

Rs 1,225 crore for roads, agri-marketing infrastructure
