Majithia sees no threat
to SAD-BJP alliance
Our Correspondent
Batala, May 13 This was stated by public relations minister Bikramjit Singh Majithia after inaugurating a restaurant here on Tuesday. Defending the alliance further, he went to the extent of saying that the relationship between the SAD and the BJP was like relationship between a husband and a wife. Minor differences and conflicts might arise during the course of stay but it did not mean that it would cause a break up in their relationship. However, he evaded the question as to who was playing the role of husband in this alliance. While attacking the Congress, the minister said it should look into its party problems rather than the survival of the alliance. He said the graph of the Congress was falling day by day as a result of which Congress workers were leaving the party in big numbers. On the question of sharing panchayat seats in the coming elections, he said it is up to the high command to decide on this issue. |
