Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Punjab and west
Rajasthan.
Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm.are: Himachal Pradesh: Shimla
(2), Jammu and Kashmir: Kukarnag (1) and East Rajasthan: Kota (1).
Temperature: The maximum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.
They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 42.7°C recorded at Varanasi.
Forecast valid until the morning of May 13: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places over the region. Isolated thunder squalls are likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarkhand. Day temperatures are likely to increase by 2 to 3°C over the region.
